Nigeria Super eagles to play two friendlies before meeting Cameroun


The Super Eagles of Nigeria will play two high profile friendly games before their crucial 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against African Champions, Cameroon.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will face Cameroon in a double header for the 2018 World Cup in August and September.
Ahead of the game, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have confirmed that they have arranged two high-profile friendlies for Nigeria’s senior football national team.
This was revealed at the NFF executive committee meeting which held on Tuesday, February 7 in Abuja.
It was unanimously agreed that there was the need for intensive preparation of the Super Eagles for the remaining matches of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying race, as well as the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying series starting in June this year. As part of the preparation, the Super Eagles will play two friendly matches against quality opposition in March 2017,” a part of the communique from the meeting reads.
